Anthony Day Smallmouth Bass Tournament

Fishermans Prayer
I pray that I may live to fish......
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord's great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep.

When: August 23, 2008
Time: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where: Connecticut River Holyoke Dam To CT/Massachusetts Line
Weigh Station: Jones Ferry Boat Launch Holyoke MA
Cost Per Angler: $20.00. Money will be accepted only on the day of the Tournament. Members/Nonmembers can launch any of the boat launches on the River but must be at Jones Ferry by 2:00 p.m.. If members would like to bring food for a cookout afterwards it will be encouraged.
Shore Fishing will be allowed if you don't have a boat or cannot hitch a ride with a member who has one.
Members/Nonmembers can fish with whatever bait they choose.
Heavest Bag of Five Fish Limit, Smallmouth will win.
This is a Catch and Release Tournament please keep your livewells cool if its a hot day.
First Place winner will recieve either (Dinner for Two Gift Certificate or Cabella's Gift Certficate)
Raffle Tickets will be on hand for various items: Tickets cost $5.00 for a arms length and $10.00 for two arms length.

JeffA, and Fisher16 Sean have been in touch with the family concerning what MAanglers can do to assist them with their tragic loss. All Monies Raised will be given directly to the Family to assist them in their time of need. We are hoping to have them at the Tournament. So far they are planning on being there.

Also the Family requested that we try to assist them in obtaining a Pin for the Smallmouth Bass Anthony caught this past spring in the picture above. We been in Contact with Massfishwildlife so far it looks promising. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.
