Poll Up for the second Maanglers fishing get together

A poll has been posted for the Second Maanglers Fishing Get together. Only one vote is allowed per member, and the voting will end July 17, 2006.

This should give everyone plenty of time to get their votes in. All are good ideas, and we could use this poll as a way of managing events. After the poll closes we will have to pick a date, time, and begin a food thread. If we have more members attending we might have to take out a permit depending upon the number of Boaters. Even if your a non-boater you are welcomed to attend and we will find a open seat for you.

Other ideas Lunker pool/most fish pool. Live well are a must, if you don't have a live well we can arrange to have one of the boaters pick up your fish and store it in theirs until the end of the tournament.

Lets make this one just as successful as the last one. Beerchug

Although fishing in boats on a lake can be fun, it really doesn't keep members together fishing or give the chance of talking with members. To me a get together would be spending some time as a group and having a good time, " Saturdays cook out was fun but I had to leave, so that my fault".

For our next get together, find a sandy beach spot on the CT River " I know of a bunch" bring firewood, grills, lots of food, bocche ect.... Get some chum out in the river earlier that day to attract Carp and Channel cats, $5 a person for biggest fish. We cook, tell fish stories by the fire, ice cold BEER and watch fishing poles bend over while the reels are screaming! Beerchug
