first time here, fished gait 8 recently. had 7 lakers, straight out to the barrels trolling in 70 -110' seemed to be the numbers staying right on the bottom trolling a davis 3-smail blade ( copper), with a chartreues wobbler going as slow as you can go. water temp at the surface was 72. sunny-cloudy skys, slight ripple on the surface, air temp 88, with my wife along for the ride.

yeah i do pretty well on the lakers at quabbin. i've been up there weekly and been avg. about 6 lakers a trip. downrigger on the bottom trolling as slow as you can go. the salmon, don't have a clue. any i get are suicidal.
