As some of you know who I have fished with before i recently moved to Columbia MD because of my Job. But I sell beer for a living so its all not so bad. Well between the move and starting work i finally got a chance to get out and try to do some fishing. However, the fishing sucked almost every lake or pond is a recreational park that gives complete access to every single idiot that wants to get their line wet but whatever. So I took my girlfriend out for a lil while to Piney Run Resivior today for a lil largemouth action but all we got was a chance to see some deer from extremely close.
First pic. So we are walking through the woods on the way to the backside of the pond to try and get away from the fairweather fisherman and of course being a hunter i'm always on the lookout for critters. I come up over a knowl and there she is about 20 yards up the hill to our right. We watched her for about 15 mins before her yearling sauntered along and she walked away.

She even stayed long enough for Jessie to get a photo op with her

We continued to march down the trail where we saw another doe with two spotted fawns but they were too skiddish to get a picture of. But we saw this girl on the way back she was only about 15-20 yds away.

I know they are Maryland Deer but its all i got now and i did see six deer in 2 hrs it was a pretty interesting experience and my girl has never been that close to a deer before. Wish the fishing was better but if that was any indication of how the hunting is going to be bring on BOW season.
