Today was a great time everyone. Its good to meet the faces behind the people that make this site possible. Everyone had a good time and there was plenty of great food to eat. Beerchug . Fishing was a little on the slow side but still couldnt ask for a better day. As long as the rain held off thats all that matters because lately thats all we have been getting. Here is the pic at the camp base that was set up.

Sorry guys but Im not even going to attempt to point out who is who Grinning1 . Im pretty sure I know who everyone is but dont want myself to look like an idiot Smashhead . Crazy Joe, great Kielbasa I think I ate most of it, well at least it sounds like I didTongue1 . Thanks Fisher for saving us from the long paddle back, Canoes are great going one direction, but back tracking, when your starved isn't much fun Beerchug . Crazy Joe you want to take the lead on a ice fishing get together, seems like you know what your doing when it comes to ice! I think that would be a fun get together, we would all be in one area and not scattered across a lake. How about a channel cat and carp fishing get together on the river, I haven't done it in awhile and think that could be fun.

Had a good time today at the get together even if I had to donate $5.00 to Yote. Food was good especially the Mako that was tasty. Fisher did a good job with the grill. A catfishing get together sounds like fun.

I'm down with any fishing get togeather.I'll plan a Ice trip for the winter for sure.If we don't have to go long distance for ice like last winter.The Oxbox or Quaboag Pond would be 2 choises,you NEVER know what your gonna catch at either place and you have a good change to catch a monster Pike.But, lets enjoy the summer before I think about ice! My brother and I had a awsome day fishing with everyone. We talked about the outing the whole ride home. Hope some of the members who missed out on this one can make it to one of the nexts ones. Alot of good ideas are already running around from others for the next outings.

For this one the food was excellant, the fishing in my opinion good we caught but we didn't get any bigger fish. Lost a nice pike but sometimes that the way the ball bounces. Nice job on crazy joe taking the lunker for the day and congrats. That picture is very nice love the coloring on that bass. I have some photos of various things going on. Oh almost forgot Noresman thanks for the Jump start on the lake. That was the first time I've ever had any issues with the battery. I think it was due to the lack of being on the water lately. Anyways Thanks for making this a successful outing and more outings are already being planned. I will make every effort to attend all of them so lets plan ahead for future ones.

I think everyone had a good time. Especially the guy and his kid in the canoe that GilFin let use his stringer. When I went back to get the cables to jump fishers boat I weighed his bass for him 4 1/2lbs. Too bad one of us didn't find it first. Can't wait till the next time.

Yote bought it at Dicks Sporting in W Springfield they have a bunch of them. I think I paid $150.00 for it we use it alot primarily for fishing, hunting, and Tailgate parties. Have no complaints about it.

I like the idea of a cat/carp outing. Haven't fished for them in over 20 years. My only concern would be whether or not my cholesterol count could survive another round of aprés fishing "snacks".

I will setup a poll sometime this afternoon so we all can vote on the next Maanglers outing. Alot of good suggestions are flying around and I don't want to loose them. So stayed tuned for the evening poll I'll set it for a couple of days that way everyone get a chance to vote.

On another note Toad that was a nice gesture donating the ice fishing gear to Jay. I am sure they will come in handy during the Ice outing.
