With all the wanrings that fish contain high levels of mercury and other harmful toxins od other fisherman feelm the same as I do and stay way and limit their only consumption of fish. I will nver eat a bass or anything from freshwater unless its a legal trout. I feel saltwater fish are more safer to aet. Is this neccesarily true that saltwater fishies is safer to consume?

Thanks, now im never eating any fish agaiN!!!
As long as you dont consume fish all the time you should be fine. Swordfish, Tuna any other fish species that is high up on the feeding chain contains more mercury and other toxins. Eating fish is still very healthy look at the Japenese their diets mainly consist of fish and they are very healhty and live long lives.
If you don't eat fish 7 days a week you will be fine!
Just remember that that there is a liberal tilt to most of the news that would like to do away with fishing and hunting in total. If they say fish is bad....less folks will eat...less folks eating=less folks fishing=they get to shut the entire sport down! They win!
Don't let um win....eat fish in moderation....gonna get the deep fryer out tomorrow for som cod from last fall!:D
