great seats, great game!

A friend of my wife's won tickets for yesterday's game, and I found myself in box seats at the best Sox game I've ever attended! You just can't beat the crowd response at Fenway to a walk-off homer! Beerchug I am now laughing at all the suckers who left at the top of the 10th to escape the rain.

I've had box seats a little further down the line from where you were for games before. ( 5 rows from the field) You're right they're great seats. glad you got to see such a good game. The last time I went last year they lost Schilling pitched like crap gave up 3 runs in the first inning and it was all down hill from there.

I've had those seats before too - right behind the away dugout. My father won them at a raffle. That also happened to be Cal Ripken's last game at Fenway, so it was perfect. He was right in front of us the whole game, playing catch with his son between innings, and generally thanking the crowd for their kind words (some of the few kind words ever heard by the away dugout I'm sure).

My brother was at the game but out in Centerfield. Those are some great seats you had to watch Bpapi smash a ball out of the park. I wish I could have seen it but I was at 30,000 ft and they didn't show the sox game. Beerchug
