I am not much of a ice fisherman, but Spring is coming only a couple of months away. I've noticed that the days are starting to become longer which is a good sign. Anyways I fish almost everyday on the Ct. River during the striper/shad run. I fish mostly for stripers as some of you know. I have a couple of regulars on my boat but every once and a while plans follow thru and I end up going out alone. If anyone is ever interested just drop a pm or add to the thread. Come on spring
For stripers/shad Ill have to take you up on the offer. ;)

I'll keep you all in mind as the season's change. Come on spring, it's teasing us with these warmer days.

i typically fish the enfield dam, but always looking for a new place to catch stripers.
in doing a little learning about striper fishing in the river.:o
I have my own boat but would it would be nice to go out with someone that has a clue about the stripers.;)
I'm out of West Springfield, MA. Keep me in mind for when Old Man Winter heads north. Bring on the shad!:D

I also have a boat but am not familiar with that stretch of river. Where do you launch from. I have never fished for Stripers but would give it a shot. If we all got together we could have our own little flotilla.

I usually launch from the Chicopee ramp, if in Ct the East Hartford ramp. It all depends on where the fish are. :)

April is here and May is approaching very soon. I've got every Monday and Tuesday off depending overtime issue's. I like Noresman idea we could have two boats one guy in mine and another in his and obviously catch some fish. I prefer to fish very early in the mornings majority of the time. I'm one of the first on the river, and then late afternoon 6:00 p.m. to when ever we get tired.

Fisher have you got any plans for going out on Sunday? I haven't had the boat in the water yet and I'm jonesing. It's all set to go the batteries are charged, bearings greased, trailer lights working, washed and vacuumed. Maybe we could get together somewhere and do some fishing.
