So I am sitting here at my desk in Westboro, not happy I could not get out this morning do to being back up at work.....We are in one level building on a slab... I look out my window and three feet away is a jake, walking on the grass between me and the parking lot. I ran out to get a cell phone picture, but in my haste I did not save it. Swear1
He was just walking along until I went out and tried to chase him with my phone...too bad there is no hunting where I am. AAAAAGH!

Know what you mean, went out earlier in the week with my 7 year old, just lookig to see a few turkeys. Didn't see/hear any in me deer/bow spot. So go to my shot gun spot and nothing. Get home and go outside to start the grill and here comes a Jake right through my back yard, to the front and across my street into the neighbors back yard. If it was legal to hunt in my yard, I'd probably be tagged out.

Do the Fish and Wildlife guys send the same abstracts to the game we hunt? It seems there are more animals right next to roads, houses, on front lawns during the hunting seasons than off seasons.

I tried calling in the back parking lot the other day before I headed in, no response. Funny thing is the lovely beavers have blocked everything up so there is not as much dry land around most of the parking lot.
The Jake had two choices: (1) walk along the outside edge of the parking lot in the little strip of enbankment between the lot and water, or skirt the edge of the building. I might stick my hen decoy outside the window next week.
OH, the beavers have worked thier way to the edge of the parking spaces and have three fresh trees down this week.
I might be wearing hippers to work soon.
