I thought I'd let you guys know, I'm Co-Chairmen of the East Longmeadow Jaycees Carnival this year, here is some info and if you stop by I will be in the Beer tent making sure the beer is 34 degrees! Ask for me "todd" and your first beer is on me! Beerchug

Where: Center Field, East Longmeadow.


When: June 29th thru July 3rd, starting at 6pm nightly.

An amazing Fireworks display will begin at 10pm on July 3rd.

Great rides, food, games, ride all rides one price every night!!! Look for $5 off coupons in local area stores starting next week.

Family Day will be on Sunday July 2nd starting at 1pm to 4pm, During the family day matinee, the East Longmeadow Fire Department will be demonstrating the Twin Meadows Fire Safety House to young visitors of the Carnival. This trailer is specially designed to teach children vital every day household fire hazards as well as fire escape and burn prevention techniques. The skills taught by the East Longmeadow Firefighters could potentially save a child’s life. The Carnival will then re-open at 6pm.

Live Bands nightly starting at 7pm...

June 29th....On the Fritz

June 30th....Classic Edge

July 1st.....East Longmeadow All Stars: Featuring Paul and Steve Racicot, Opie Reid, The Guzzo Band, Hi-FI, Legends of Southern Rock and the Hal Benoit Band.

July 2nd.....Jason Scott and the Whisky Brothers.

July 3rd .....Pandamonium

Boy does that bring back old meoriesTongue1 Always loved those dug outs on the base ball fieldChill1 F.S next time your down there throw some bread in those to ponds it use to be loaded with shiners won't take long to tell cover the whole pond.then let me know.

Ahhh, The Dugouts.....Tongue1 Bow1 Beerchug . That was my hang out to!

Those ponds were made into A pond about 15 years ago! I take my daughter there all the time, bullhead 10 to 16 inches, every cast!!! Your right about the shiners, thats were I've been getting mine for years!

Did you say free beer. Beerchug I might have to take you up on that offer, I may stop by and say hello. I'll be back by then with hopefully a few fish tails to share and show. Nice job in running that event and hope that the weather gods are nice to you guys on that weekend.
