Went out to a Quarry behind my house just a bit ago, my friend finds a half of rack in the middle of the path, his cousin seconds later finds the other half. We put them together and its a perfect match!!!

Funny thing is they're in excellent shape, only a little nibbling was done!! If they were dropped that means he survived winter and huntingg seasonTongue1 Tongue1 Tongue1 Tongue1 Tongue1 .

The one in my video is a minimal 12 pointer, we think 14, but I have seen lots of 10' and 8's. This one here is only a TEN... Yote that came from behind Brownstone Quarry in EL, didn't you use to work there or hunt around there???

The reason they get that big is because you can't hunt them there. My sister-in-law lives on Chestnut St in EL. She is always telling me about the deer in her back yard eating the blueberry bushes. I offered to come over with the bow and get rid of them for her!

You are correct, many of these small farm towns have had so many developments put in that the deer heards have been forced into tiny areas. The herd of deer behind my house has grown from 7-10 to 35-45 in just 7 years, new laws were passed in town making it nearly impossible to hunt shotgun, and with all the homes going in you don't have enough space! Its kind of sad actually, I have videos of tiny deer so hungry in the winter they are willing to come withing 20 feet of me to get food, there land is disappearing and people get mad because they eat some shrubs in there landscaping!!! I put out deer chow, corn and salt licks, and I can tell you these deer are not afraid of me. I let one friend hunt behind my house, and he can only take a deer that is 8 points or bigger, those are still tough to get. He has to hunt Bow because people would freak if they heard gun shots in our neighborhood.

I've read many articles of people hunting just outside of cities and having great luck! They bow hunt in small 2-5 acre chunks of land and see alot of deer. You just have to get used to watching someone eat there dinner while sitting in your tree stand!

Couldn't have said it any better. I have a small farm that I hunt in Westfield only with Bow. Although the deer aren't nearly any size to brag about there are in good numbers. The owners of the farm allow hunting with bow only and limit the amount of people hunting the land. So there have been some good days and better days are ahead.

I have my stand 150 yards from my house, even though we have plenty of land to hunt, its just the deer seem to stick closer to the houses around my house. My freinds house in natick that has maybe 10 acres or woods, and everytime i go over there all you see is huge deer tracks. To bad they dont allow hunting in natick.
