How many of you guys have been stuck with hooks similiar to this

I feel his pain have had all sorts of hooking mishaps over years of fishing. Some becuase of others, and just being dumb.

my thumb and index finger years ago, I had to cut the barb off and pull it back through, believe it or not it didn't hurt that bad! How did that happen in the foot??? OOUCH.....

The story is a couple of guys were fishing offshore for Dolphin in Florida. After gaffing one of the many dolphin they encounted the fish shook the hook into this poor anglers foot. They were approximately 80 miles offshore. Its always good to carry a good set of wire cutters, take it from experience.

I've been lucky. Ive been fishing since I was 4 and have only buried a hook past the barb once. It happened last year at the swift river. My lure got hung so I gave it a yank and it came flying at me and hit me in the head and didn't bounce off my thick skull I'm thinking this isn't good. I reach up and the lures stuck to my head. I gave it a good yank and it popped out fortunatley nobody saw my stupidity.

about a year ago i was bringing up a bluefish and the blue fish thrashed its head toward me and the hook was sticking out and the hook went through my thumb and through my thumb nail, ill try and find a picture of it.Thumbsup
