1st post here. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to everyone. My name is Ken Ly and i'm from South Eastern MA. I enjoy fishing for most any species, from panfish to carp in the sweetwater and smelt to stripers in the salt. I fish almost exclusively from the shore(not by choice) but also do a little wading. My favorite places to fish are the 'Chu for freshwater and the Canal for the salt. I am by no means an expert at either place, but have put in alot of time there so feel free to contact me if anyone needs any tips or info.
I discovered this site a few days ago and have enjoyed the reports, stories, and discussions i have read and i especially enjoyed all the great fish pics. It has been great therapy for my cabin fever.
I am looking forward to talk fishing with you guys.
A great successful year to everyone,
Ken

Welcome to the site and thanks for the post. Good gang of fisherman (and gals) on this site. Sure would like to do some salt fishing, but the price of fuel is going to keep me close to home unless I have someone to share the cost of fuel. Good luck! Good fishing!!!

Norton res. has some nice bass in it, no pike though. They stocked it years a go with tigers, but they are no longer around. Lake Sabatia, in my opinion, is a better lake. Its in taunton.
