Anybody know where around the Springfield area you can get a reel checked and "tuned" up", I have an old Penn conventional for the salt( not sure of the model), and a couple of older Mitchell spinning reel for the sweet water.
Thanks in advance for the input / help

Try B&G'S in Westfield. They might be able to help.

How about Chicopee? Just off Rt. 33 is Stan's Tackle Repair Shop, 8 Fletcher Circle (593-5085). Does great work and is not expensive.

I have a couple of reels that need some service. This is the first time I've seen this post. I'll bump it back up to the top.

Wink1 I didn't know that Stan was still around or in business anymore. Went there a million years ago and he was great ,real hard to find people like him anymore!! BeerchugBeerchug Fishing1Fishing1
