It would appear that membership numbers are stagnant right now. We were growing pretty fast but have now come to a brick wall.Smashhead Not sure why this is happening.Notsure

Maybe just print out some business like cards on your computers, carry a few in your tackle box or wallet, and hand them out to guys while fishing around them and asking them to join.Bow1

I agree with you Toad. There are alot of lurkers out there that are coming to the site. What is a Lurker? A lurker is a person who is not sure if they want to join but check the site out on a regular basis. This is a good thing in a way. Because sooner or later they will probably decide to join. I am sure there are some lurkers that visit the site that have some great reports to post for everyone to view. Remember you don't have be spot specific ect. Its just nice to read and see that others are enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it be fishing,hunting, hiking, outdoor related.

Although those numbers haven't jumped as fast in the last couple of weeks. The new members that have joined have been posting and we have also gained some very knoweldge Captains from New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island. I predict as spring turns into summer we might hit the 500 mark for membership. We just have to be patient, and keep marching forward.

So if your under the defination of a lurker in the above paragraph. I personally know a few of them out there please join up. Its free, and if you would like to contribute a donation to JayW for his hard work please do. How much of a contribution should you make think about it like a fishing magazine subscription.

Only six more to go and the site will have three hundred members. Come on lurkers I know some of you sign up, and start posting those reports of yours. I have been a on streak recently and have informed a good number of people who are just as addicited to fishing as me about this site to join up.
