Quabbin this sunday?

Planning on taking my Dad to gate 43 for some Smallie fishing on sunday. Anyone else going?

I plan on hitting the Quabbin sometime this weekend for sure. Had some alterations done on my rig and need to check everything out. Smallies should be starting to bed if not already there. Senkos should start to show their "salt" right about now :) The hard jerks should still be working as well. All depends on water temps. Gate 31 will be my target this weekend. Closer for me to travel than 43 and just as productive.

<TABLE id=HB_Mail_Container height="100%" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%" border=0 UNSELECTABLE="on"><TBODY><TR height="100%" width="100%" UNSELECTABLE="on"><TD id=HB_Focus_Element vAlign=top width="100%" background="" height=250 UNSELECTABLE="off">i was at 43 2 weeks ago and did extremely well for smallies ...and one really big largie.they were a few on beds and alot of cruisers then ,now to get to this weekend after all the rain and lack of sun i would expect that most fish will be staging off the shallows ,fish main lake points and egdes of flats to start .there will be a considerable amount of wind to contend with on sat.i am going so this is my plan ...first start with topwater and dont give up i have cuaght alot of prespawn fish here like that ..then cover water with spinnerbaits and jerkbaits .keepa tube nearby and old faithfull "the senko"on a line as well i am going alone tomorrow out of 43[my partner bailed on me] oh well good luck

We killed them 4 weeks straight last year on silver zara puppies so I am hoping the topwater bite is heating up now. Otherwise I'll have a pointer, a senko, a gitzit, a superfluke and a spinnerbait rigged up on other rods.
