Where did my thread, "Thoughts on R&R Tackle", go? Was it removed? If so, why?

Sorry about that,But ,as much as we dislike "somethings" we try to keep the site on a positive level. We fish with people and hunt with people that deal with R&R. They did help us with the Bass derby and gave us some swag It's not a good thing to get into bashing.I hope you understand.

Guys,
I personally have nothing against the store and my experience with the owners/staff was very pleasant. If you have an issue with a certan place then please keep it to yourself. A public forum is not the proper place to do that. Thanks for your understanding.

Isn't a forum supposed to be a place where one can express their opinions? Notsure

If one only reads what they want to hear, what kind of basis does that give for an opinion? Notsure

If we are going to go the route of being politically correct...I'm outta here!

Agree1 with you Toad 100%.
What it comes down to, if the shoe fits, wear it. If an opinion is asked for, an honest reply is better than none.

This is AMERICA!!!!

FREE SPEECH.

Don't like it then move to Iraq.....

This site should become a pay site just like everything else in America.

Just my 2 cents.

Don't like it don't read the post.

Nothing wrong with opinions, but bashing is a totally different story.
From the end of the thread on R&R it was turning into bashing.

Hey, I wasn't trying to start a bash fest here, I was just wondering how the shop was. I am in the market for a Parker bow and R&R is the only dealer around besides Cabela's. I heard some things about the place and wanted to see if it was an isolated incedent or if others felt the same way.

I guess my question was answered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an interesting thread because it makes us all think about the importance of being able to express our opinion in a forum (maanglers.com) that we all "claim" as our own and value highly. The fact is, someone has to be accountable for the content...who should that be ? I didn't read the thread in question, but I do trust the judgement of Crazy Joe and Bigbear, these are two genuinely good men committed to this site....if a thread is "going downhill fast" with unsubstantiated negativity then it should be pulled whether the subject is an advertiser, sponsor or not. However, if there is consistent and sober expression of serious member concerns regarding an individual or business, then it should not be removed..... advertiser, sponsor, or not.....that is my opinion.

If a thread is mixed between genuine opinions and genuine bashing then it should not be completely erased but just those bashing posts removed IMHO.

Bottom line is you reap what you sew and if your a dick your gonna be called a dick and while I get a long fine with Rich at R&R I can definitly see where others get that feeling from him.

R&R caters more to the area hunters than fisherman! If you are shopping for a bow then try then out.

Just my opinion, but I think THIS thread may be removed for bashing the forum itself!?!

No this is prefectly fine Tongue1 .

Guys, I took it upon myself to delete the previous thread because things simply started to get out of hand. You all are excellent members here and there is never really any trouble at all on this site. Once in a blue moon something is deleted but thats it. This site is open for all sorts of debate but please when it comes to that sort of thing we need to be a little more careful as to what we say. (Even being people expressed their opinions, it just seemed to get out of hand way to fast). I hope you all understand and I thank you for your cooperation.

Nothing wrong with having an opinion and sharing, but if you post something negative about anyone you should have to put your name, address, etc. on it. It's done on masslive all the time. To hide behind a screen name is cowardess. I am not familiar with the thread in ? so please no one take offense. If anyone has a problem I live right on the river, I like beer, my dog.......ooopps, don't want to give too much away hey SB? MachineGun GO YANKS! Remember Clemens was a RED SOX first!

I hope everyone takes my post with a smile, man I miss this site, I've been too busy to post but have been a "lurking" Cry1 I haven't been out ice fishing this year and I'm going CRAZIER. Cheers to all you maanglers!!! Beerchug
