Fishing Sunday 12/30

i was gonna be going out sunday, where were you planning on going???? i would like to try forest lake.

That's a possibility. I'd have to see what the ice there looks like after the rain tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to check a couple ponds tomorrow and see whats up. I was thinking about Sherman Pond in Brimfield. Will post tomorrow when I know more about conditions.

Jeeps that sounds interesting. I've never fished that pond but have wanted to. The advantage to Sherman is it's closer and I'm more familiar with it.

It will be an experience for me as i have only shore fished it, 1/2 an hour at a time on luch/dinner breaks, but i've heard/seen of some good sized bass coming out of there, and it has some decent panfish to keep me busy witha jig stick.

used to camp on walker pond when i was a kid - probably where you work jeeps...my dad used to pull BIG Lmouths out of there!!

I stopped and checked Sherman on the way home from Bass Pro and tried out my new toy. I bought a 6" hand auger to go with my new 10" power auger I got for Christmas. There was 7"-8" of ice there. Let me know where you're going. I will be out till around 10:00 pm tonight but will check back in then.

Checked walker, and the ice is melted back about 5 ft from the shore, you'd have to plank it and my buddies chickend out, we have decided to go to Little Benton in Otis.
