Got a new "Mini-Jacker" jack plate, for my Crestlienr, for Xmas (4" set-back), along with a neat little gadget called the "Tiny Tach" tachometer & hour meter for the Yamaha. Now I can see about raising my engine to the proper height above the transom, to get that Doel Fin up out of the water at WOT; and get my rear end up on a proper plane. Hopefully I can realize a speed improvement from my present 22 mph, to my goal of 28 - 30 mph at WOT(?). Of course, now I have to find a tow vehicle, but life is G - O - O - D!
