Fishing1 I am planning on heading up to Ashfield Lake in the morning for some ice fishing action. Hopefully I can connect with some trout and maybe jig up some pan fish!
Come on up if you are out riding!Fishing1

It was actually one of the slower days I have had in a while. Landed a couple average pickeral and jigged up some small yellows and punkers. It was nice and peaceful out there though! Was hoping for some trout but they were not biting. Yotebuster stopped in to share some stories and hang out for alittle bit. It was good to see him...its been a while.

you gotta be young to walk in that stuff, it'll only get better for you on that lake. can't wait to make a trip up there and fish with you.

Hopefully it will get cold again soon and freeze up all this crap on the ice. I remember being up there last year with 14" of clear black ice. How thick was the ice out there?

Your correct Yote...it was right around 8 to 9 inches of solid ice! Last year it ended up with a total of 18" at its peak. That sucker freezes good!
