hey guys thanks for the advice before. thinking over materials for my project dect and came across polyboard, it is recycled plastic board. it is useful in marine environment i read. it will never rot, doesnt absorb water, anamails wont eat it. cuts as easy as lumber, holds screws. the minisus are only a few it is 40 percent heavier than plywood. and might swell with extreme temp changes.
anyone know where i can find a sheet of this material. evry serch only is by the pallet 25-75 sheets. common uses are for tracktor trailor wall liners, playground equipment and such others.
really want to try this out cause ill never replace rotting wood. and resale value down the line is a plus right. gonna try home depot thats were ill start my search. o ya it comes in 1/2 and 1 inch. any insight gladly appreciated as always.

Question I have is why go with a solid floor, plank it. If you want to rug over the boards, fine. I did my front deck on the CC that way, and it's been perfect for 8 years. Just my input.

Fishin',
sorry, I simply made a frame from 2x2 PT, and put PT planks over the top. I used this platform to mount my trolling motor too also. I added a few hatches for the battery and some essential storage, then covered everything with ID/OD carpet.

A Canadian firm that markets the board claims it is used inside tractor trailers, maybe a trucking company has some, like Yellow Freight or UPS Freight? Just a thought.

thanks Rick C i found a dealer local in granby that sells this. i just called for a quote and its way to expensive $163.00 for a sheet of 4 x 8!!!! at that cost i could buy a decent fishfinder and still have some change for a 12 pack. thanks for the help but not gonna use this material now.

At 163 a sheet it should install by itself. WOW. I do like the 12 pak idea though.
Smoke1 The Kleer Lumber doesn't appear to be structural material anyway......why not marine ply (if you can get it) sealed with a couple of coats of epoxy??? It seems to be what a lot of guys restoring bass boats are using. Beerchug Beerchug
Dat marine plywood has been around fer a long time! Maybe it is good for refurbishing boats?
