I fish with senkos alot and always have the probelm with them ripping. Is it possible to remelt them so I dont have to keep on purchasing new ones? Smoke1

Yes. You can keep a soldering iron works well. You can get a cordless one for your tackle box. Super glue works too.

You can also get much longer life out of your Senkos by using a rubber O ring in the middle of your worm, only drawback is getting the O ring onto the center of the worm. there is a tool you can buy for this though. After you put the O ring on you hook it through the O ring instead of the worm. Obviously you will be fishing the worm wacky style.

Instead of the o ring a use a mcdonlds straw cut in thin strips they work great go on easy best of all cheap

Here's another great / cheap method: Use "Goodies" which are small rubber bands the ladies use in their hair. I get a pk. of 100 clear colored ones for a couple of bucks at Wal-Marts. Double the band on the end of a pair of longnose pliers, insert the hook in this loop and pull it more open. Insert the Senko and release.....presto. And it's a LOT cheaper than O-rings. Been using them for several seasons now and no complaints.
