Need Feedback on Photo Contest Idea

Many of you have been giving me excellent feedback on the idea of having a photo contest once a month and the majority want to see this happen. I need more critque though on the possible prize before anything happens with this. I was thinking about purchasing $15 gift cards to Dick's Sporting Goods, Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops etc. as the winning prize for the photo of the month. This way I don't have to worry about shipping costs etc. if I was to purchase any other prize and then ship it to the winner. The question Im trying to get at is: the card has the possiblity of getting stolen/lost if sent in the mail so would people mind if I sent the card #, and pin # and then they could make online purchases? I could always send in the mail but Ive had stuff stolen before. Its up to you guys how you want to recieve the prize. Any other feedback on the prize is appreciated. Is $15 too little? Please all feedback is needed. Thanks

for the contest would be fine. What the hell it's a photo contest. I personally don't think that you would have a problem sending the cords throught the mail. Just put is a little padded envelope. I personally have never had anything stolen in the mail.

I say try sending it via mail and if problems start occuring go with plan B. Either way it is still going to be a success seeing everybodys pictures.

I guess mailing is safe anyways. I'm drafting up the rules for the contest as I post and will have them posted soon. The contest will start in February so everyone get ready :cool: .
