Went out today fro 6 Hours seen 2 Does out of Range oh well better than stting Home lol.

Went out for 6.5 hours today jumped one 3 steps into the woods then when i got to my stand i heard 20 blows either from a single deer or a couple of deer but i didnt get to see them, then i saw a nice buck at about 70 yards but he didn't come any closer. great first day in the woods

Saw a big fat nothing tonight but it was great to be out! Love gearing up and hitting the woods!

Here is my report....

where i hunt i have to talk through a neighbor hood, and they are cool in there, and then theres apartments i have to walk behind to get to my stand. I am walking into my stand when i see a couple little kids playing, and a little girl come running up the hill to me, and a mother yelling at her to "get back here, you don't know who he is." I keep walking, when i here..."hope that wasn't a rifle in your hand!"
I reply very nicely, no ma'am, it was a bow and arrow. She replies, "what are you shooting at?"...."Deer". She snaps back, thats "illegal!!" I just say, "it is 100% legal" and walk into the woods, knowing she was going to call the cops. I had my phone on silent, so i couldnt here the 5 missed calls from my mom. It was the same cop from when travis and i had got called on because i had camo pants on and so did he, while we were looking at tracks.

I stayed in the woods, waited till pitch dark to get out with no confrentation. I hate people. my dad had to go and talk to them before he went out in his stand, he said they were complete anti-hunters, and pointed out that she clearly (rather a large woman) wasnt a vegitarian, so she had no problem with others killing animals for her. <!--emo&:rolleyes:-->http://www.newenglandfishing.net/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif<!--endemo-->

Saw 3 deer, no shots. They are in that area though. I wont be hunting over there for the next week, only behind the house.

You can always call the Wildlife Officers to report harassment!!! That stuff dosn't happen around here. Most of the time I head into the woods the farmer tells me to stop in and have a beer with him on the way back in!!! Gotta love the hill towns!!!

Jr.,I have had the good fortune to hunt on semi-private land for so long, maybe I am spoiled, but I would not have been as kind to the "Lady" as you were. Good job on keeping your kool. Nice report. Good luck.

Saw a monster doe at the parking lot when I pulled up last night, nothin in the woods though! Their there, just gotta be patient! Be Safe.

Long sit on stand and nothing till that last magic hour. Then the blowing started from a large doe at about 60yds. She told every deer within a mile that my scent lock was not working. These winds are driving me crazy. Gonna try a small move with the climber and get higher yet. The deer have no idea how determined i am to add a head to the wall.

I saw 5 deer opening day no shots and a 4 pointer blew at me, the rest of the guys at camp saw a total of 50 deer between all of us and got 3. not bad out of 6 of us. does and a button my friend was upset about shooting, only had tiny buttons he thought it was a doe. the does weighed 117 and 105 not bad for ny. sunday only 2 of us hunted both saw deer but again no shot. I had a good sized 4 pointer walk by me at 25 yards at dusk. I couldnt see the horns because it was to dark but it walked by my buddies stand an hour before and headed straight for me. Wish it would of been 15 minutes earlier.

I hate these winds! going to make the same move i did last year on the scecond day when i got my button buck, hopefully something walks by.
