Hi folks. I'm glad to join you all on what seems to be a great fishing forum. I fish in my home state of MA as well as CT and hope to share in everyone's experience. MY current drug of choice is the CT River striper run...so far so good. Smoke1

Yote, welcome...Some of the ponds may not be as good now in E.L. The geese polluted brownstone quarry with sh#t, the beavers moved in and took down every tree, denslow is dead, but lee street quarry is still good, if you can sneak in! Elmcrest, Blakes, redstone are just not producing like they used to.

Welcome to the site. I try to get up to Bartons Cove a couple times a year in the fall for smallmouth. It's a real nice stretch of river and have had some real good days fishing up there.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
Thanks also to Fishstory...come mid-June I'll be looking beyond the river for some more local spots to fish. I hope Yote's glory days of E.Longhetto fishing aren't dead yet.
