Why are you giving him up? Is he a good dog? With kids? With other dogs or cats?

Yote....maybe you could consider posting about the dog on masslive.com pets forum. It's run by the Springfield Newspapers and gets quite a bit of traffic.

http://www.masslive.com/forums/pets/

Another place to try contacting might be a rottweiler (she looks like one anyway) resuce group. They will sometimes take a dog off your hands and put them up for adoption themselves.
These are also on the internet.

You might want to post some specifics about the dog. Breed, age, temperment etc.

Just a thought and suggestion.

I've got two rescues already and can't handle another one. Hate to see a good dog go down. Hope she can find a good home.

I'll rescue the pool table so it doesn't go to the scrap yard!
