Ya, you don't see that everyday. I am surprised he could land it on the river like that? I wonder if it would be good for trolling!

Trolling would great with that.....think about how many lines you could hang off each wing! Talk about a "spread"! :)

Years back there used to be a guy who landed a pontoon plain at Otis Res. He'd buzz the lake, check the wind and settle her in. It was pretty neat too see him pull up to the gas docks and fill up at Overflow Campground.

Nice photo Fishstory thanks for puting it up.
Honeybear and I fished Spofford lake (N.H.) quite a bit and there was a plane that landed there often, cool to see them come in for a landing.

Am I the only one on this site old enough to remember O.Connors seaplane base on the river in Agawam?

No, I use to fish from there all the time. Granted his planes were no longer usable, but I remember the place...

I remember well a guy I used to work with used to rent his planes all the time. There is a house on Big Alum that has a sea plane it hasn't been there the past couple of years. I asked the owner if the town made him take it out and he said no it was out being restored
