impossible!!!Wink1

so we get up and do our little power walk warm up and then...hit the river bank...thats right, river BANK.Grinning1
what better way for the mutt to get back in action than to slowly walk the bank for a couple hours or so. Eyeball Roller
the river dropped a little...so plenty of room to walk down the shoreline to a couple spots i usually hit from the boat. off we go...started off calm enough...walking with me...wading in to the water a little...then...MachineGun back to his roots!Tongue1

first...we dig. Wink1

Glad to hear the little guy is coming along.

I can sympathize with your situation....my Dick went through the same thing this past winter. Only he had 12 weeks of leash walk only and the wife was in the hospital a good part of that time.

Man there were some cold days and night in January and February!!

JUst do what the Doc says and the little man will be showing the big man where to catch fish.

Hey take him in the boat. He can't go very far and it's still good exercise walking back and forth in the boat. Glad to see his recovery is coming along on schedule.

Nice to see the lil guy recovering so well. Man, he must really need a bath after the walk though. River mud, dead shad, the river itself, all applied to wet dog. Seems Dad needs a beer. Loved the report, thanks for the laughs.

I love the first photo he is so expressive. When he is all better we should get he and sara together to swim. Sara is crazy about the water. I would think swimmimg would be good gentle exercise for him. Only thing is Sara loves to rough house and tussle and I think she is a little bigger than he is now. Thank you for the update I was wondering how he was doing.

He must have smelled great!!! My dog used to love to roll in dead shad, it would take several baths for him to be able to come back in the house... Glad he's doing well....
