Lasik Surgery

My uncle is considering getting laser eye surgery and since there are quite a few members on the site here Ill ask for him. Has anyone ever had this procedure done before and has it been succesful? He is considering going to Montreal or Toronto ( I believe it is cheaper the surgery up there). Sorry if the question is a little random but he wants to get it done sometime over the course of this year.

Have heard great things about it! The only thing you must consider is that Lasik Surgery is relatively new and you do not know any long term affects of it.

My family is huge over 20 aunts and uncles and some of my family have had this procedure. They say it was well worth the money spent but sometimes have trouble seeing late at night. I guess that can be a problem but since they are using their eyes mostly during the day its not really that much of an inconvience. I personally wouldnt want surgery on my eye. Your eyes are so sensitive and I heard that if you move your eye during the operation it might come out messd up.
