View Full Version : Shore fishing with young teens
I'm trying to locate a few places to bring the 10-15 year old crowd. I remember as a kid there was one place in Easthampton down near the Ct. River we used to drive to and just get out and toss heavy line with night crawlers for Cat Fish. Anyone know the spot as a kid I loved it.
I assume fishing from shore? Congamond has a really nice fishing pier that they constructed a few years ago. Plenty of fishing space. You can see the bass sitting on their spawning beds come early May/Late April. Ive seen some really nice bass caught there. The pier is located in Middle Pond right across the street from the Brass Rail Restuarant.

Click on 'publications' - there's a book, costs about $8, shows public access points to a *lot* of water here in MA.
