Boat lights

I assume these are legal however isnt it required a back light too?

Yes, you need a back light. It needs to be a clear white light that I believe is atleast 3' off the back of the boat.

The front light is green/red and just needs to be on the front.

Jay... My recomendations are not to bother with Ebay. Just go to your local Walmart. They should have them in stock for far less cash considering the shipping charges attached to Ebay purchases.Wink1

Buffermop, Ive seen ones there but not sure are they portable?

Jay... The one I saw at Wally World were the portable clamp on style.

i was there today and they have the two you need and each is just under $14.

This link will tell you everything about navigation rules. From light requirements and sound signals to rules of the road. Take a look at the lights and shape sections...it will tell you how far you must be able to see the lights on your boat and which ones you need. Look at the annexes to see where you need to have them.
