Little River Westfield

Hey Papi have you ever fished this river. Used to party at the swimming hole called pot rock off General Knox road. Used to see some huge browns swimming around in the pool. The river comes out of Cobble Mountain Res. and they used to release water occasionally. A bunch of us skipped school one day and were up there and the water came up and one of the girls lost an $80.00 pair of boots she left on a rock while she was wading in the river.

Not to me. But a lot of the beer we had in the water to stay cold washed away.

Haha good story. To answer your question yes I actually have fished there before. That is the river that runs behind my neighborhood. Used to ride my dirtbike through the tobacco fields down there. We used to go swimming during the summer in that river also and we would jump from the little bridge that goes over the water. It was a lot of fun. Never really caught that much otu fo there some occasional suckers but thats about it. Ya the river does rise there when they release the damn water everyday or whenever they do it. We were one time fishing there and cooking some hot dogs and hamburgers then the water started to rise so fast we lost our food lol. It was all in good fun.

There are a few small streams near tin bridge that have some small red meat brookies. However, the beavers have been at work in the area and I have not fished the brooks lately.
