A real good Land Locked Salmon Streamer, especially after ice out on some Maine Lakes. like the Moosehead Lake

Looks like either Shang's Special or Harris Special though I can't see any peacock herl from the photo. A fishing buddy owns the cottage there Carrie Stevens lived at Upper Dam Maine.

Yes it is a Carrie Steven's, Shang's Special, not seen in the pictures, there are peacock herl as a topping.

Joe it is great to see some of Carrie Stevens Maine patterns tied true to form. You tie great streamers. Question do you still use metal tinsel for your ribbing or the newer mylar products ? Joem

When i tie Carrie Stevens patterns, i still stick to the original materials, in this case i do use the metal tinsel, but I do use the English Silk for the body material, and not the Floss, on all other Streamers I might use the Floss.

Boy! I would think that collectors would like to have a set of Carrie Stevens streamers . You are the only one I have seen that that ties them true to form materials and all. Nice going Joe. Joem
