Nice Fish I know there are some bigger fish on the move your pic gets me all ready to go. What body of water was that fish caught in? Ct River or another river.

I migrated for this fish. It was actually taken in CT waters on the Thames. Still thought U guys might like to see an early topwater bass close by. This pic was taken on my buddies cell. I still haven't figured out how to photochop camera pics.

Nothing wrong with a little migrating I do that from time to time over the course of the run when I have good information. Congrats on a quality fish.

Always a hater. Nope. In the 1 hour I fished this hole, all my 4 fish were keepers. The others were all under 35", but I lost 2 other nice, nice fish and had plenty of hearty wacks. My friend lost a fish near the bank that might have been bigger then mine. I saw a fish break on one of my casts that looked way bigger then the fish I caught. The one fish that I took had a 20"shad in it's belly. These are big fresh fish that move in right when the shad and herring move in. All those people that say the big fish are a few weeks behind the bait fish aren't finding concentrated areas near obstructions. If I could figure out how to photoshop pics on this site I could show you plenty of 20# fish that I have caught in CT in April just as the leaves start. I'll e-mail U a few pics from years past in April.

want me to post those pics you sent me? i love the one with the blitz!
craziest blitz i have ever seen was at watch hill 2 septembers ago when there where well over 1000 stripers in a massive ball moving across the surface with their mouths open!!!
the crazy thing is, we got a nice 5 pound bluefish mixed in that was feeding below the stripers

I have a thing for canal cut poppers right now. The particular plug I was using that day was a 3oz Mac canal cut pencil popper, white over silver with red eyes.Thumbsup Danderson I don't mind if you post those pics of April bass from years past. The blitz pic happened in the end of June though on the outter Cape. I sent it to you cause I thought you'd like it. Post em if you have time. That would be great. Thanks

That blitz pic was taken from shore. They were pushing peanut bunker right on to the beach. Caught fish that day until my arms were sore. Biggest for me just pushing 30#. A real big one came out that day, but was released after a quick pic. Maybe Danderson will post the pic of 30# (also a canal cut popper fish) if I send it to him. Later, Bomba
