they stocked canoe river near my house. fish with power bait today...only 2 hits. They stocked it today...so trout still arnt moved out into the pond part yet. saw at least 20 trout still where they stocked it. Will catch them tmmrw!Fishing1 Fishing1

caught 13 brookies today...all like these ones. Sry about the pics guys...couldnt resize them

What did you catch them on? The brooks were not roaring from all of the rain?

nope...we havent had rain for a month...plus it stopped raining here around 1. I caught them were the river is damed up to make the lil 2 acre pond...on the other side where its about 4 foot wide little chute. Caught on a single sinking power egg on tiny hook...all were released.

went out today after school....2:00-6:30
caught 12 rainbows and a brookie. the bows on the power bait on the bottom and then brookie same as the other day. I also used big big rdg's method with the floating eggs and caught 5 out of the 12 rainbows on it.

kept the five that i gut hooked. i try to release all of them..but if they wont survive its not worth it.
