I'm looking to purchase some land between the CT border and the MA turnpike, around rte 8. I'm looking for something over 5 acres, the more the better, for under 60K. Does anone have any leads? I've been searching the internet and MLS, and haven't found much. Thanks in advance.

Try some relators in the Chester Mass. area. they may have something you're looking for.

Wo Show .....are you looking to build a house on the land ? a cabin ? keep it for a woodlot? do you want it near a lake or a pond ? all of these factors will affect the cost. I sell Real Estate for the Government, I'll look into what's coming up in the near future for you

Noresman, I'll give Chester a look.

Kurt, we aren't looking to build. Maybe be able to camp on it, but be able to "play" on the land, ride quads, hike. If it has a stream or a lake neary that would be nice.
