Eel Raking

From my experience I have ahd the best results from fresh eels that I rake from the sand. Frozen ones do not work really work for me. Does anyone else rake their own eels for striper bait?

Frozen are not the wya to go. I bought a cheap rake (well actually it costed about $50 for a rake) and go in the sand at Chapin Beach in Dennis. I get a ton of eels there. Perfect striper bait.
