Here's a smaller one I caught a few years ago.

They are fine looking fish, knotreelly. That one I took is not my PB however. I'm having trouble scanning a black & white pic of my PB. Keeps coming up as a .bmp file extention vs. .jpg, so I can't get it to upload to the Photogallery. But I'm working on it :)

You can try wehn you save the pic you are able to choose an extension such as .jpg etc. Just choose the one you want and save it. It should work

Not sure why the pic came out so small? Everything done exactly like the others? Any suggestions?

I think you may have resized it by mistake. Its currently the size for a Avatar. Did you scan it into your computer?

Crestliner

Yes. I scanned it the same way I did all my pics. As a matter of fact, this black & white is actually a 6" x 9" original from the Berkshire Eagle reporter that snapped it that same day. The others in the photobucket were standard 3" x 5" sizes. Puzzling!?

Try this scan it in to your computer again. After the first initial scan you should have a window appear and should say somewhere on the window or tool bar not sure of your software. Fit to Window, it will scan it again and enlarge the photo. There is alot of white around the photo and this should work. If not I'll try printing it out at home and scanning it for you to enlarge it. Try it and let me know.

OK......I've sized it 320 x 240 Website size in Photobucket. This made it come out again like an avatar. So, I went up one size to 640 x 480. All that comes out is the above link!??? Geeze....this can't be that hard?

I just tryed to put it up and the link busted. In photo bucket did you use the URL Link???

Bigbear - I'm pretty sure I did the "copy image location", but I'll try it again. In Photobucket, it gives you several "sizing" options. I tried the 320 x 240 Website/Email size for the first upload from my HD and it still came out postage stamp size. So, I deleted it from Photobucket and re-uploaded it again, this time selecting the 640 x 480 Massageboard size. When I posted, it came out with this posted link instead of a picture? I will give it one more try, but I think you all must be getting pretty fed up with me doing this! :)

WOW! How did you do that?????? All I was able to do was put the link on the post - you got the actual picture in a post! Amazing! When I transferred the picture from Photobucket to the post, I did a "copy image location", then did the copy/paste thingy as usual. But instead of the picture in the post, all I got the link. What's your secret? :)

hey crest - i open two tabs -one with my post the other with photobucket.
when you leave your post tab-make sure the indicator is where you want the pic to pop up.
from the picture on photobucket - left click the url tab under the pic - you will see copied pop up - your good to go - go to the post tab - click the insert image button(looks like a mt.) a small tab will pop up-right click where the link is to be posted-click paste. give it a shot Beerchug
