Those crabbers really work for a living. That industry is in the top 10 for most dangerous jobs. I too have watched and enjoyed that series.

thats a great show i got hooked last season. thoes guys die out there. i couldnt get past the sea sickness. i give them a ton of credit for what they do. amazing.
Between mining and crabbing they are the 2 most dangerous jobs in the world.

I really enjoyed that show last year. The sheer numbers of crab they pull in is amazing. Lets hope it doesnt get too overly dramatic like some reality shows have gotten.

the show started last night it was a very good season opener. unfortunatly six guys died before any pots were thrown. but it was a bumper haul on crab....
Hope you enjoy the forum as much as everyone else. Looking forward to your posts.Beerchug

it's tuff out there those guys can really take a beating
I spent 8 years in the Coast Guard 5 years on high endurance cutters doing ocean station duty. Ocean Station Bravo was the worst. A few hundred miles SE of Greenland. I know how bad the ocean can get up there and the Bearing Sea is even worse from what I hear. Those guys put it on the line to make good money in a short period of time.
Question......Do you think those guys on the boats get "crabby" after working a 20-24 hour day?Grinning1
