FOUND (caught) a rod and reel at the oxbow

Hey guys, I caught a nice little rod and real in the oxbow today, hooked the bail wire! it had a bobber and hook that still had bait on it so it hasn't ben there long. anybody lose one? Pm me with description and I will gladly return it, otherwise it goes in the tag sale next spring!

caught it on a silver buddy! it put up a good fight and I almost called for the net, but my skill as a big game angler proved to be to much for it and I lipped it over the side!

Have you checked with anyone from the ice holesz or lip rippers?
Someone back in Sept., someone mentioned something about them or one
of their friends losing a rig somewhere.

what in the world is "ice holesz or lip rippers"? there is no way this has been in the water since sept, I was using it 5 minutes after i pulled it out! Gill, if one of the guys lost it here, it would be returned, other than that its going to my daughter or the tag sale next year!

I checked my stuff today and didn't see anything missing. Thanks for posting anyway Gary. You just never know what can come up fromt the depths of the Ct. I'm sure your daughter will get good use of it in spring unless she a diehard like the rest of us. Then she can put it to the test much sooner.

I am an icehole and lipp ripper and the rig that was lost was a shimano spinning reel and all star rod. It was lost by the arcadia bridge. If anyone hooks it get in touch.
