Jim Rice got ripped off he should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Hopefully he will make it next year as he was one heck of a good player.

i agree that he should be in the hall of fame...but thats easy being a red sox fan. We are not suitable to decide that if we are biased...and get to see the guy commenting on the red sox pre and post game shows 2 times a week. Most red sox fans woul like to see the rem dawg in the hal of fame and he wasnt even a good second basemen.The fact that his time of his dominance was so short lived didnt give the associated press enough reason to induct him. And with Mark Mcguire, Cal Ripken Junior and Tony Guinn up for election next year...it appears that rice wont make it to the Hall of Fame...and im not sure if hes in the elite to even deserve that honor.

With all the stars coming up to be eligble for Cooperstown I have to agree that Jim Rice probably wont get in for some time to come. Its unfortuante but thats how things go. He was a good player that deserves to be in but the votes decide.

actually jim rices time of eligability is coming near its end...and with this year being his best shot to get in...it is in fact not going to happen....it is unfortunate for him and his fans..but thats how the cookie crumbles
