i remember watching John Dowd a few years back, i used to hang around with his sister when i was younger. he was like a god to us then. is he still in the sport? havent head of him in quite a while.

I just looked googled him and the last race he ran in was arenacross in Albany on 11/11/06 according to his website. Watching Dowd at Southwick is incredible. The crowd goes nuts when he goes by too

John dowd has slowed down in the sport a lot. He is still fast, but i mean he doesnt race as much. Love watching him race.
