Ok so I shot an 8 point buck, weighing about 160lbs.

I was sitting on a log that i found and made a nice chair with a piece of bark. I heard a shot to my right (south) and figured it was someone from my group and jsut kept sitting there. but about 3 minutes later i heard rustling coming at me so i quickly grabbed my gun (12 gauge semi auto) and sure enough it was deer. i was pretty sure i heard 3 of them and the first one was a doe. then another doe. So im like "alright the last ones got to be a buck" and it was. They didnt see me and they were kind of trotting by in a striaght line so i picked a spot between some trees and waited for my shot. I was still sitting when i fired because i didnt want to move or they might see me. I hit him with the first shot (using a slug) and he took half a step and rolled over a bit but that was it. I hit him right in the neck and it snapped the spinal cord there so yea he wasnt going anywhere. After I took the shot one of the does turned, stopped and looked at me, and if i had a permit i had an easy shot at her too. But i just kind of waved my arms to get her to run off. He was an older deer, and has been fighting. he nose was torn and one of his tines was broken off. So everyone is telling me that im spoiled because my first deer is probably the biggest ill ever get but oh well, im fine with that.

i guess HTML doesnt work in here because i cant get it going, but heres a link to the picture.
