Today, everything went right!, on the river in Mass at 7:30 and fish on at 7:35, a nice little smallie to start the day. Hit a few deep spots along the river and got 6 smallies including a 3-4 and 4-0. pictures coming! I met MACK, from here ,at the ramp at 1 and we headed out. we fished a little and then I told him it was time to take pictures and pulled out the 2 pigs out of the well! He obliged and took a few and then I took him on a little terror ride up the river. The boat ran perfect, running 75 mph at 3/4 throttle. We stopped at a northern little spot that usually holds fish this time of year and I got a little 12" smallie. Mack hasn't done much deep water fishing so I gave him the ultimate secret bass bait and a few minutes later he says he is snagged but when I look over the snag is moving! turns out to be a 3-13 walleye!. We fish a little longer and head back down to the ramp area and I hit 80 a couple of times on the speedo. I then decided to head in to one of the back bays for some perch action and the next thing I know,. Mack sets the hook on a big fish and brings in a 4-5 LM, also on the magic bait!. We got a few perch and with about 10 minutes to go I got 3 more lm's and a 20" pike and we had to leave! Total for the day was 7 smallies, 4 largies bringing the bass total to 81 for the week in my boat. 1 walleye bring that total to 6 this week and a few perch. Mack was a great guy to fish with and of course is sworn to secrecy!
