I agree with lonewolf on the license and rules. As far as cooking squirrel I skin them cut off the legs and toss the rest. Cook them like you would a chicken leg. We used to pan fry them then put them in spaghetti suace.

You will need a hunting license before you harvest anything.

Got a few recipes here...Good Luck:

They are alot of fun, they are not like my old crossman 760,i had one it was not a 1250 but 1000fps and it took care of rabbits nicely, gotta find the bryre patchs in the morning or before dark i used go get them then alot about an hr before dark catch them out in the open they run but stop alot and sometimes ya get and a nice shot...or a beagle if ya got access to one then it dont matter the time dogs go right in and chase'm out to ya!Good luck and remember..."don't shoot yer eye out"...tis the season, happy new years:)

Look up local hunters education coarse first to get your license. If you get caught, youll never be able to hunt and pay some seriours fines. Not worth it for squirell or rabbit IMO. Hope you find a coarse. they are free and usualy take two days.

Yes laws are laws. So you need a license to hunt your own land
