What do you do if you catch a fish you know is a pin fish but it's too late to go weight it in? My daughter caught a jumbo bluegill lastnight about 7:30. We took a picture and then let it go.

Not much take the photo and have a nice copy made up and put it on the wall. You will have the photo to rember it by. Just a thought.

I think they should make it a policy that if you want a pin, you need to keep the fish alive and then RELEASE it!. Why encourage poeplo to keep trophy size fish just to get a little pin for your hat. Makes absolutely no sense to me!!!!!!!!

I think that is a great idea to keep those record fish alive, and put them back so other sportsmen can have better odds on getting record size fish.
If we keep every record fish we catch, what will the new record size fish be................SMALL. That does not sound like a smart choice just for a little show off pin. Take a pitcure at least this way you will remember what you really got.

Never really had an interest in getting a pin. I just throw them all back.
