I'm told these are all over the place the only other two I've seen were at a distance and gone. This one I almost walked into while hikiing a back trail at Mt Greylock. Took a bunch of pictures of it's back as it moved away from me. finally gor one pretty good shot!

How far away were you when you snapped the pic?

Used the zoom to get that shot, guessing maybe 100 ft away. Was close to it at first but it kept its back to me so no real good pic's when it was close.

hey great pic once had one come down the tree where I was calling for turkeys watch him for about an 1/2 hour or so before he/she waddled off in to the brush.
