Are you guys finding more ticks than average out there? I've been picking ticks off by the DOZENS the last couple weeks. I picked 40 off the dog and myself after a morning in the woods today.

YA...lots of ticks out there everywhere. It seems like it justs gets worse very year.

As a youngster, when Rome was being built Grinning1 , I practically lived in the woods when not in school or doing my house chores. It was very unusual back then to get/see a tick. Of course back then they used to spray DDT around....killed a lot of tics. Chill1

i went out the other day and had 3 on me in no time i wonder if the warmer weather has anything to do with it

Ticks suck....... literaly... pulled two out of me already this season....seems to be more around this year....some say a lot of rain makes them more active......

They weren't really active earlier in the year but the last few weeks...I believe I am the tick magnet although sounds like some of you are more magnetic than me!!!

yup Toad life was much better with DDT, no EEE, West Nile or darn wood bees trying to eat my house every year. Why can't they just leave well enough alone!
