check out my buddies post in the hunting section. He smoked two 8 pointers in one afternoon. also helped that he was hunting private land in CT. one tip i can tell you is make sure you brush in the blind. basically take brush and throw it in front of the blind so it breaks up the square look. also take ferns and smaller branches and lay them on top. goodluck

Best advie i have about hunting on the ground is try to pick a day that you have a 5-10mph wind, a consistant one at that. If you pick a calm day, thermals can take over and blow your cover, no matter how good you brush in the blind. First trick there nose, then there eyes. The day i took those deer, we had a good 7-15 mph wind, and was always blowing the same way, downwind from the deer. Second brush in your blind, use trees, to help break up the block image, then use branches and stuff to finish it off. Also practice sitting down, if ya never done it . its easy to torque your bow. its a different beast. Good luck and hope you smack one.
