the only way to get things done in this country now is through politicians (who are all, repeat "ALL" dirty). Doesn't matter what side of the aisle, conservative or liberal.

Sometimes you win, with what you think is right, and sometimes you lose.

The great thing about this country is that we can all have a dialog/discussion, hopefully civil about what direction this country is taking. And elections come soon enough so that we as a people can voice our opinion.

This is just a hint/suggestion from an Old Toad who has been to a circus and a county fair, and seen a few other things in this life. Keep a "very" open mind up there in Amherst. While you are in school, you will be subjected to professors that will try and tell you this country is bad and is responsible for most of the horrible things happening in the world today.

In my mind, this country, in it's very short existence, has become the freest, most generous, most open, and is responsible for the freedom of hundreds of millions of people around the world.

Study hard but don't be brainwashed. There is good and bad in all philosophies.

I want to check your grades so I can make sure your Dad isn't throwing money down the drain on you. HA HA. How are the dorm parties? Bet you don't need any id's up there right?

I usually don't get in the mix of the political thing either. But Toad has hit it right on the head with his statement above. I'll end my comments for now.

Toad its alright up here. As for the grades nothing lower than B's and A's (with the only exception being engin calculus) but no need to worry Im not the only one struggling. As for parties what parties? HAHAHA jk nah in all honesty Im not really into that type of stuff. I go to the gym for my daily fun. Without the gym Id honestly be going insane. Lifting weights is soooo much fun.
